Project description:In the title compound, [Fe(C(12)H(16)O(4))(CO)(3)], the diene moiety of the mol-ecule is virtually planar, with a C-C-C-C torsion angle of -1.4 (2)°. The six-membered ring exhibits a boat conformation, with torsion angles of 46.2 (2) and 46.5 (3)° for a double-bond and the two attached Csp(3) atoms. The Fe atom is coordinated to all four of the diene C atoms, with bond lengths between 2.041 (2) and 2.117 (2) Å. The Fe(CO)(3) tripod adopts a conformation with one CO ligand eclipsing the Csp(3)-Csp(3) single bond.

Project description:In the title compound, C34H28O4, the cyclo-hexa-diene ring has a screw-boat conformation with a torsion angle between the double bonds being on average ca 15° [15.2 (3) and -15.3 (3) in the two independent mol-ecules]. All four phenyl rings in both mol-ecules are arranged in a propeller-like conformation. The two mol-ecules exhibit S,R- and R,S- chirality, respectively, and are connected via C-H⋯O inter-molecular inter-actions. In turn, these weakly bound dimers form the mol-ecular crystal.

Project description:In the title complex, [CoPd(2)(C(3)H(5))(2)(C(8)H(11))Cl(2)(C(40)H(30)P(2))]·CH(2)Cl(2), the Co(I) atom is sandwiched between the cyclo-penta-dienyl and cyclo-butadiene rings. The two diphenyl-phosphine substituents of the cyclo-butadiene ring are situated opposite to each other and bind two Pd(II) atoms, which are additionally coordinated by a chloride ion and the three C atoms of an allyl ligand, forming a distorted planar coordination environment. The Cl atoms of the dichloro-methane solvent mol-ecule (equal occupancies) and one C atom and its attached H atom of each of the allyl ligands (occupancies 0.55:0.45) are disordered.

In the crystal, intra-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bonds and weak N-H?O and N-H?F inter-molecular inter-actions are observed forming an infinite two-dimensional network along [011].
