Aqua-carbon-yl(ferrocenyldi-thio-phos-phon-ato-?(2) S,S')bis-(tri-phenyl-phosphane-?P)ruthenium(II) dichloromethane mono-solvate.

ABSTRACT: The structure of the title complex, [FeRu(C5H5)(C5H4OPS2)(CO)(C18H15P)2(H2O)]·CH2Cl2, consists of one neutral [{FcP(O)S2}Ru(CO)(H2O)(PPh3)2] complex [Fc = Fe(?(5)-C5H4)(?(5)-C5H5)] and one CH2Cl2 solvent mol-ecule. The geometry around the Ru(II) atom is pseudo-octa-hedral, with two cis-binding PPh3 ligands and one chelating bidentate [Fc(O)PS2](2-) ligand via two S atoms. The average Ru-S and Ru-P bond lengths are 2.434?(1) and 2.398?(1)?Å, and the Ru-O and Ru-C bond lengths are 2.157?(3) and 1.826?(4)?Å, respectively. In the crystal, pairs of O-H?O hydrogen bonds link adjacent mol-ecules into dimers.

Project description:The three-dimensional title coordination polymer, {[Tb(2)(C(8)H(2)NO(6))(2)(H(2)O)(5)]·H(2)O}(n), was hydro-thermally synthesized by reacting the corresponding rare-earth salt with pyridine-2,4,6-tricarb-oxy-lic acid (H(3)ptc). There are two independent Tb(III) atoms in the structure, one of which is nine-coordinated, forming a monocapped NO(8) square-anti-prism and the other is eight-coordinated exhibiting a 4,4-bicapped NO(7) trigonal-prismatic environment. The complex units are inter-connected through the ptc(3-) anions acting in different coordination modes, resulting in a three-dimensional coordin-ation polymer. Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, {[Sm(2)(C(8)H(2)NO(6))(2)(H(2)O)(5)]·H(2)O}(n), contains two independent Sm(III) ions, two pyridine-2,4,6-tricarboxyl-ate (ptc) ligands, five aqua ligands and one lattice water mol-ecule. One Sm(III) ion is nine-coordinated by one N and five O atoms from the three ptc ligands and three aqua ligands in a distorted monocapped square antiprismatic geometry, and the other is eight-coordinated by one N and five O atoms from three ptc ligands and two aqua ligands in a 4,4'-bicapped trigonal anti-prismatic geometry. The ptc ligands brigde the Sm(III) ions into a three-dimensional polymeric framework. Extensive O-H?O hydrogen bonding is observed in the crystal structure.

Project description:The crystal structure of the title compound, {[Er(2)(C(2)H(4)O(6)PS)(OH)(3)(H(2)O)]·H(2)O}(n), consists of two Er(3+) ions, one (C(2)H(4)O(6)PS)(3-) ion, three OH(-) ions, and two water mol-ecule. The Er(3+) ions form ErO(8) polyhedra., which are connected by ?- and ?(3)-O atoms. Thus, inorganic Er-O-Er layers of edge- and face-sharing polyhedra are observed. Whereas most often in metal phosphono-sulfonates the organic linker bridges adjacent layers, in the title compound, the (O(3)PC(2)H(4)SO(3))(3-) anion is only connected to one Er-O-Er layer. Short interatomic O?O distances [2.898?(8), 2.997?(14) and 2.768?(10)?Å] indicate hydrogen bonding between the layers. The noncoordinated water mol-ecules are located between the layers.

A weak intra-molecular C-H?Cl hydrogen bond is also present. In the crystal, complex mol-ecules are connected through N-H?Cl hydrogen bonds originating from the amide -NH2 group, and through O-H?S and O-H?Cl hydrogen bonds involving the solvent water mol-ecule. Both the direct N-H?Cl hydrogen bonds as well as the bridging hydrogen bonds mediated by the water mol-ecule connect the complex mol-ecules into zigzag chains that propagate along [010]. The solvent water mol-ecule is partially occupied, with a refined occupancy of 0.479?(7).
