Project description:Interventions: Others(Exercise) : All exercise sessions were taken twice a day at 15 min (session until the patient had fully recovered) was discharged from the hospital after surgery. The exercise program consisted of 3 phases according to post-operative date (POD) and vital signs such as Fever, visual analogue scale (VAS), and physical status (low intensity at bed exercise, moderate intensity at bed exercise, balance exercise). All exercise sessions were supervised by an exercise therapist. Influence of perioperative step volume on complication rate and length of hospital stay after colorectal cancer surgery

Project description:Interventions: Group 1: Patients assigned to the intervention group will receive a pedometer preoperatively with a defined step goal of 7500 steps daily. Postoperatively, the patients receive a predefined target of daily steps to be achieved in the first days after surgery. On the first postoperative day these are at least 500 steps, on the 2nd postoperative day 1000 steps, on the 3rd postoperative day 2000 steps, on the 4th postoperative day 3000 steps and on the 5th postoperative day and 4000 steps. The actual steps taken are documented regardless of whether the goal is reached. Group 2: The control group receives a pedometer preoperatively with the request to document the daily steps taken without a defined step target. The pedometer continues to be used postoperatively and the number of steps is documented during the inpatient stay. Project description:Interventions: Preoperative Phase â€¢Fasting at midnight â€¢Taking mechanical bowel preparation with polyethylene glycol 2 liters or sodium phosphate 90 milliliters â€¢Prophylaxis antibiotic 30 min before surgery: cefoxitin or ceftriaxone and/or methonidazole. In penicillin allergy, ciprofloxacin was used instead. Intraoperative Phase â€¢General anesthesia â€¢In patients suspected bowel obstruction or ileus surgeon may be inserted nasogastric tube Postoperative Phase â€¢Fasting 5-7 days postoperative â€¢Control pain with strong opioid ,Preoperative Phase â€¢Fasting at 3 AM â€¢No mechanical bowel preparation â€¢Prophylaxis antibiotic 30 min before surgery: cefoxitin or ceftriaxone and/or methonidazole. To gain insight into the molecular mechanisms conferring this extended longevity to rpn12a-236 in response to darkness, we performed RNA-seq analysis on WT and mutant leaves sampled after 0 hour (light control), 6 hours, 1 day, 3 days and 6 days of IDL treatment.

Deep transcriptomics analysis reveals the development of postoperative ileus and the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture

Project description:Postoperative ileus (POI) often occurs and prolongs hospital stay, which costs expensive. Electroacupuncture (EA), as an appropriate non-pharmacotherapy supported by emerging clinical trials, the mechanism needs to be clarified. In this study, the intestinal manipulation (IM) method was used to establish the POI model, and EA was used to treat it. Sham surgery (SS), simple electrical stimulation (ES), and sham electroacupuncture (SEA) were introduced as control. Gastrointestinal transit and colonic transport were employed to evaluate interventions’ effects. RNA sequencing was then carried out using the intestine tissue of mice.
