Diabetic cardiomyopathy is a well-recognized complication of diabetes, but its pathophysiology is unclear. We aimed to investigate the mechanisms underlying cardiac dysfunction in an elderly type 2 diabetic (T2DM) mouse model, using membrane proteomic analyses.
