ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [CrF(C(8)H(20)N(4))(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(2)·H(2)O, the Cr atom is in a slightly distorted octa-hedral environment, coordinated by four N atoms of the 4,7-diaza-decane-1,10-diamine ligand, one water mol-ecule and an F atom trans to water. The five-membered chelate ring is in a gauche form, while the two six-membered chelate rings are in chair conformations. The crystal structure is stabilized by several hydrogen bonds.

Project description:In the title hydrated salt, C(16)H(38)N(4) (2+)·2ClO(4) (-)·H(2)O, the dication is protonated at the diagonally opposite N atoms proximate to the -C(CH(3))(2)- groups. Within the cavity, there are two ammonium-amine N-H?N hydrogen bonds. Supra-molecular layers are formed in the crystal packing whereby the water mol-ecule links two perchlorate anions, and the resultant aggregates are connected to the dications via N-H?O hydrogen bonds. Layers, with an undulating topology, stack along the a axis being connected by C-H?O inter-actions.

Project description:In the title compound, [Ni(3)(C(10)H(22)N(2)S(2))(2)](ClO(4))(2), the complex cation consists of a nickel(II) ion and two [Ni(C(10)H(22)N(2)S(2))] units with an N(2)S(2) tetra-dentate ligand, 3,3'-[1,2-ethane-diylbis(methyl-imino)]bis-(1-propane-thiol-ate). The central Ni(II) ion is located on a crystallographic inversion centre and is bound to the four S atoms of the two [Ni(C(10)H(22)N(2)S(2))] units to form a linear sulfur-bridged trimetallic moiety. The dihedral angle between the central NiS(4) plane and the terminal NiN(2)S(2) plane is 145.71?(5)°. In the [Ni(C(10)H(22)N(2)S(2))] unit, the two methyl groups on the chelating N atoms are cis to each other, and the two six-membered N,S-chelate rings adopt a chair conformation. The Ni-S bond lengths and the S-Ni-S bite angles in the central NiS(4) group are similar to those in the [Ni(C(10)H(22)N(2)S(2))] unit.

Project description:The crystal structure of the title diprotonated diacetyl-triethyl-ene-tetra-mine (DAT) perchorate salt, C(10)H(24)N(4)O(2) (2+)·2ClO(4) (-), can be described as a three-dimensional assembly of alternating layers consisting of diprotonated diacetyl-triethyl-ene-tetra-mine (H(2)DAT)(2+) strands along [100] and the anionic species ClO(4) (-). The (H(2)DAT)(2+) cations in the strands are connected via N-H?O hydrogen bonding between the acetyl groups and the amine groups of neighbouring (H(2)DAT)(2+) cations. Layers of (H(2)DAT)(2+) strands and perchlorate anions are connected by a network of hydrogen bonds between the NH and NH(2) groups and the O atoms of the perchlorate anion. The asymmetric unit consits of one perchlorate anion in a general position, as well as of one cation that is located on a center of inversion.

Project description:The complex mol-ecule of the title compound, [Cu(3)Br(C(22)H(28)N(4)O(2))(2)]Br·2C(3)H(7)NO, contains three copper atoms, two of which are five-coordinate within a square-pyramidal environment and linked by a bridging Br atom occupying the apical position in each square pyramid. The remaining Cu atom is four-coordinate but with considerable tetra-hedral disortion [the dihedral angle between the two chelate planes is 69.21 (7)°]. There are two mol-ecules of dimethyl-formamide (DMF) present as solvent mol-ecules, one of which is disordered over two equivalent conformations with occupancies of 0.603 (5) and 0.397 (5). The amine H atoms are involved in both inter- and intra-molecular hydrogen-bonding inter-actions with the Br and O atoms of the cation, as well as with the O atom of the ordered DMF mol-ecule.

Project description:The structure determination of the title salt, C(18)H(42)N(4) (2+)·2ClO(4) (-), reveals that protonation has occurred at diagonally opposite amine N atoms. Intra-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds stabilize the conformation of the dication. In the crystal, the dications are bridged by perchlorate ions via N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into supra-molecular chains propagating along the c axis and weak C-H⋯O inter-actions cross-link the chains.

The water molecule forms a hydrogen bond to fluorine in a neighbouring cation.
