Project description:In the title compound, C(19)H(19)NO(13), one of the two fused furan-ose rings adopts an envelope conformation whereas the other displays a twisted conformation. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular C-H⋯π inter-actions between a methine H atom and the triacetoxy-phenyl ring of an adjacent mol-ecule, and by weak non-classical inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

Project description:In the title compound, C(13)H(13)FN(2)O(3), the fused piperidine ring is in a chair conformation. The fused pyrrolidine ring shows an envelope conformation with the N atom displaced by 0.661 (3) Å out of the plane formed by the four C atoms of the pyrrolidine ring. The dihedral angle between this plane and the plane formed by the four attached C atoms of the piperidine ring (not including the carbonyl C atom) is 67.63 (10)°. The F atom is disordered and was refined using a split model with an occupancy ratio of 0.910 (3): 0.080 (3).

Project description:The title compound, C(16)H(20)Cl(2)O(8), contains a central bicyclo-[2.2.2]octane skeleton with slightly twisted conformation. In this structure, the C-C bond lengths are in the range 1.525?(2)-1.552?(2)?Å. Two sides of this skeleton have cis,cis acet-oxy substituents and the Cl atoms have a trans arrangement. An extensive network of weak C-H?O interactions stabilizes the crystal structure.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(11)H(11)BrN(2)O(4), contains two crystallographically independent mol-ecules in which the bromo-phenyl rings are oriented at dihedral angles of 39.28 (3)°. The dioxolane rings adopt envelope conformations. Intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds result in the formation of four five-membered rings, having planar and envelope conformations. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link mol-ecules into chains along the b axis, forming R(2) (2)(8) ring motifs.

Project description:The mol-ecular structures of the chiral title compounds, [Pd(C19H28N2)2I2], (I), and [Pd(C19H28N2)Cl2(C18H15P)], (II), show a distorted square-planar coordination around the Pd(II) atoms with two halogenide (Hal) ligands each and two N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands in (I) or one NHC and one tri-phenyl-phosphane ligand in (II). The deviations of the Pd(II) atoms from the L 2Hal2 best plane (L = NHC or tri-phenyl-phosphane ligand) are 0.206 (1) Å for (I) and 0.052 (1) Å for (II). The crystal packings exhibit inter-molecular C-H⋯Hal hydrogen bonds.

Project description:The 1:1 co-crystallization of 1,4-di-aza-bicyclo-[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) with 4-nitro-benzoic acid in ethanol-water (3/1) gave the salt dihydrate C6H13N2 (+)·C7H4NO4 (-)·2H2O, (1), whereas from methanol, the salt C6H14N2 (2+)·2C7H4NO4 (-), (2), was isolated. In (1), the cation and anion are linked by a strong N-H?O hydrogen bond, and the carboxyl-ate anion is close to planar [dihedral angle between terminal residues = 6.83?(9)°]. In (2), a three-ion aggregate is assembled by two N-H?O hydrogen bonds, and the carboxyl-ate anions are again close to planar [dihedral angles between terminal residues = 1.7?(3) and 5.9?(3)°]. Through the inter-vention of solvent water mol-ecules, which self-assemble into helical supra-molecular chains along the b axis, the three-dimensional architecture in (1) is stabilized by water-DABCO O-H?N and water-carboxyl-ate O-H?O hydrogen bonds, with additional stability afforded by C-H?O inter-actions. The global crystal structure comprises alternating layers of water mol-ecules and ion pairs stacked along the c axis. In the crystal of (2), the three-ion aggregates are assembled into a three-dimensional architecture by a large number of methyl-ene-carboxyl-ate/nitro C-H?O inter-actions as well as ?-? contacts between inversion-related benzene rings [inter-centroid distances = 3.5644?(16) and 3.6527?(16)?Å]. The cations and anions assemble into alternating layers along the c axis.

Project description:The crystal structure of the hydrated title salt, 2C6H13N2 (+)·S2O3 (2-)·2H2O, contains a centrosymmetric cyclic motif of eight hydrogen-bonded mol-ecular subunits. Two DABCOH(+) cations (DABCO = 1,4-di-aza-bicyclo-[2.2.2]octa-ne) are linked to two water mol-ecules and two thio-sulfate anions via O-H⋯N and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, respectively. Two other water mol-ecules close the cyclic motif through O-H⋯O contacts to the first two water mol-ecules and to the two thio-sulfate anions. A second pair of DABCOH(+) cations is N-H⋯O hydrogen bonded to the two anions and is pendant to the ring. Adjacent cyclic motifs are bridged into a block-like arrangement extending along [100] through O-H⋯O inter-actions involving the second pair of water mol-ecules and neighbouring thio-sulfate anions.

Project description:In the title methanol solvate, C(20)H(24)N(2)O(2)·CH(4)O, an L-shaped conformation is found as the two substituents at the central hydr-oxy group are almost orthogonal to each other [the C-C-C angle at the central sp(3)-C atom is 110.12?(13)°]. The most notable feature of the crystal packing is the formation of supra-molecular chains along the b direction mediated by O-H?N hydrogen bonds occurring between the hydr-oxy and quinoline N atoms; the methanol mol-ecules are linked to these chains via O-H?N(amine) hydrogen bonds. C-H?O inter-actions also occur.

Project description:The racemic title compound, C(23)H(28)O(2), crystallizes in the space group C2/c as a layered structure in which a centrosymmetric three hydrogen bond sequence links four molecules. Both hydroxy groups are involved in this arrangement, but they differ in that one participates in two hydrogen bonds while the other takes part in only one. Between layers, the aromatic rings take part in edge-face interactions [shortest C-H⋯C distances 3.04, 3.10 and 3.12 Å and angle between normal to planes 86.7(2)°], forming a centrosymmetric dimer. The lattice is further stabilized by C-H⋯π interactions involving both methyl (shortest C⋯C 3.82 and 3.97 Å) and methylene (shortest C⋯C 3.60 Å) groups.
