ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [PtCl(C(34)H(33)P(3))]PF(6), the Pt(II) cation adopts a distorted square-planar PtClP(3) geometry, arising from the P,P',P''-tridentate triphos ligand and a chloride ion. Four of the F atoms of the PF(6) (-) anion are disordered over two sets of positions in a 0.614?(17):0.386?(17) ratio.

Project description:In the structure of the title compound, [Pd(C(19)H(21)N(2)P)(2)](PF(6))(2)·2.85CH(3)CN, the two six-membered NHC-phosphane chelate rings form a distorted square-planar coordination geometry around the Pd(II) atom, which lies 0.212?(1)?Å above the coordination plane. The sum of the bond angles at Pd(II) is 358.3°, with C-Pd-P bite angles of 84.03?(10) and 83.54?(9)°. The structure includes three acetonitrile solvent mol-ecules, one with partial site occupation and one with severe disorder, which was eventually excluded from the refinement.

Project description:The title compound, [Co(C(30)H(23)O(2)P(2))(C(3)H(9)P)(2)], was synthesized by the addition of a Co(PMe(3))(4) solution to (PPh(2)O)(2)C(6)H(4). The Co(I) atom displays a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry with the two P atoms of the 'PCP' pincer ligand and the P atom of one of the trimethyl phosphine ligands forming the basal plane, whereas the metalated C atom and the P atom of the second phospine ligand occupy the apical sites. The Co-C distance is 1.961?(2)?Å and the C-Co-P angle is 171.96?(6)°.

Project description:The Pt(II) atom in the title compound, [Pt(C(29)H(31)NP(2))(2)](PF(6))(2)·2CH(2)Cl(2), is coordinated by four P atoms from two bis-(di-phenyl-phosphan-yl)pentyl-amine ligands with an average Pt-P distance of 2.300?(1)?Å. The coordination around the Pt(II) atom shows a highly distorted square-planar geometry, as evidenced by the P-Pt-P bite angles of 70.45?(3) and 70.64?(3)°. The asymmetric unit contains two hexa-fluoridophosphate ions, the metal complex and two dichloro-methane solvent mol-ecules. One of the chloride atoms of one of the dichloro-methane mol-ecules is disordered over two sites in a 0.515?(3):0.485?(3) ratio. C-H?F hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

The crystal packing is stabilized by ?-? inter-actions between the pyridine ring and the central ring of anthracene, with a ring centroid-centroid distance of 3.684?(3)?Å. Project description:In the title compound, [PdCl(2)(C(27)H(26)P(2))] or PdCl(2)[(C(6)H(5))(2)PCH(2)P(C(6)H(4)CH(3))(2)], the palladium center has a distorted square-planar geometry. There are two crystallographically independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. The dihedral angle between the PdP(2) and PdCl(2) planes is 2.95?(4)° in one independent mol-ecule and 5.15?(4)° in the other. The P-Pd-P and P-C-P bond angles are significantly distorted because of the small bite angle of the chelating (bis-phosphino)methane ligand. The steric demands of the substituted rings in the mixed ligand cause a slight elongation of the Pd-P(C(6)H(4)CH(3))(2) bond relative to the Pd-P(C(6)H(5))(2) bond. In one molecule the tolyl ring shows positional disorder in a 0.58?(2):0.42?(2) ratio, in the other molecule the phenyl ring shows positional disorder in a 0.838?(9):0.162?(9) ratio.
