ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(28)H(33)N(2)O(2)P, contains a penta-coordinated P atom as a result of the weak N→P intra-molecular inter-actions, with three C atoms, two N atoms and the lone pair arranged in a dicapped pseudo-tetra-hedral geometry. The morpholine rings exhibit an almost ideal chair conformation. In the crystal, two weak C-H⋯O hydrogen-bond inter-actions link the mol-ecules in layers stacked along the a axis; there are no further inter-actions between the layers.

Project description:The title compound, [Pd(2)(C(11)H(14)NO)(2)Cl(2)], has a dimeric structure with Cl atoms bridging the two Pd atoms, one half of the mol-ecule being generated by symmetry due to the crystallographic inversion centre located in the middle of the perfectly planar Pd(2)Cl(2) ring. The five-membered ring adopts an envelope conformation, while the morpholino group has a chair conformation. The geometry around the metal centres is distorted square-planar, as a result of a strong intra-molecular N→Pd coordination trans to a Pd-Cl bond. In the crystal structure, the dimeric structure is strengthened by inter-molecular C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. C-H⋯C(phen-yl) inter-actions link the dimers into a columnar supra-molecular array along the a axis; the dimers are further connected by C-H⋯Ph inter-actions into a three-dimensional supra-molecular arrangement.

Project description:The title compound, [Co2{P(C6H5)2}2(C3H9P)4], was obtained by the addition of di-phenyl-phosphane to a solution of Co(CH3)(C3H9P)4. The dinuclear complex mol-ecule exhibits inversion symmetry with the inversion centre located between the two Co(I) atoms. The short Co-Co distance of 2.3670?(8)?Å lies within the range of metal-metal double bonds. As a result of inversion symmetry, the four-membered Co2P2 core is rigorously planar, and the two bridging P(C6H5)2-ligands and the terminal C3H9P ligands are arranged in a pseudo-tetra-hedral fashion about the Co(I) atom.

Project description:In the centrosymmetric title compound, C(64)H(62)N(4), the two phenyl-ethynyl groups lie at diagonal meso positions. The 24-membered porphyrin has in-plane distortion with respect to the mean plane of the macrocycle and two intra-ring bifurcated N-H?(N,N) hydrogen bonds occur. The dihedral angles between the phenyl rings in the phenyl-ethynyl group and the 3,5-bis-(tert-but-yl)phenyl group with respect to the mean plane of the porphyrin are 17.2?(2) and 59.2?(3)°. Project description:In the title compound, C36H36N2, a product of the condensation reaction of 2,3-dimethyl-6-phenyl-vinyl-benzenamine and 2,3-butane-dione, the complete mol-ecule is generated by the application of an inversion centre. The central C-C bond in the 1,4-di-aza-butadiene fragment is trans-configured and situated about the inversion center. The dihedral angle between the ring attached to N and the 1,4-di-aza-butadiene plane is 78.24 (36)°, while the 1,4-di-aza-butadiene plane makes an angle of 30.71 (26)° with the phenyl ring.
