ABSTRACT: In the title mol-ecule, C(23)H(18)FN(3)O(2), the mean plane of the indole system forms dihedral angles of 44.23?(8) and 14.54?(7)°, respectively, with the phenyl and benzene rings. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bonds link mol-ecules into two-layer ribbons extended along the b axis. The crystal packing also exhibits weak inter-molecular C-H?O, C-H?F and C-H?? inter-actions.

In addition, a number of C-H?? inter-actions are also observed. Project description:In the title compound, C24H26FN3O, the cyclo-hexane ring adopts a chair conformation; the propyl substituent is in an equatorial orientation and the bond-angle sum at the C atom bonded to the carbohydrazide N atom is 360.0°. The dihedral angle between the 1H-indole ring system and the phenyl ring is 82.77?(13)°. A weak intra-molecular C-H?? contact occurs. In the crystal, pairs of mol-ecules related by a crystallographic twofold axis are linked by bifurcated N-H?(O,N) hydrogen bonds; a C-H?O inter-action occurs between the same pair. The dimers are linked by C-H?F and C-H?? inter-actions, generating a three-dimensional network.

Project description:The title compound, C(12)H(9)FN(2)O(2), was prepared by the reaction of 2-fluoro-benzaldehyde and furan-2-carbohydrazide.
