2-Meth-oxy-4-[(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)imino-meth-yl]phenol.

ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(13)H(19)N(3)O(2), was obtained by the direct solvent-free reaction of 4-hy-droxy-3-meth-oxy-benzaldehyde with 1-amino-4-methyl-piperazine. The piperazine ring adopts a chair conformation. In the crystal, strong inter-molecular O-H?N and weak inter-molecular C-H?O and C-H?N hydrogen bonds help to establish the packing.
