Sotalol: effects of oral administration on haemodynamic and electrocardiographic parameters in the chronically-instrumented conscious dog using telemetry.

ABSTRACT: n=3 chronically-instrumented conscious male Beagle dogs, dosed with Sotalol at 20 mg/kg. No PK phase. Parameters: haemodynamic parameters (SAP, DAP, MAP, HR) and ECG intervals (RR, PR, QRS, QT, QTcB, QTcF intervals). Arterial blood pressure, heart rate and ECG parameters were measured 45, 30 and 15 min (T-45, T-30 and T-15) before administration (baseline=T0) and 30 (T30), 45 (T45), 60 (T60), 90 (T90), 120 (T120), 180 (T180), 240 (T240), 360 (T360), 480 (T480), 720 (T720) and 1440 min (T1440) post-treatment.
