Moxifloxacin: effects of oral administration on haemodynamic and electrocardiographic parameters in the chronically-instrumented conscious dog using telemetry.

ABSTRACT: n=4 chronically-instrumented conscious male Beagle dogs, dosed with Moxifloxacin at 10, 30, 60 and 90 mg/kg, p.o., successively (wash-out 72h). No PK phase. Parameters: haemodynamic parameters (SAP, DAP, MAP, HR) and ECG intervals (RR, PR, QRS, QT, QTcB, QTcF intervals). Arterial blood pressure, heart rate and ECG parameters were measured 45, 30 and 15 min before administration (mean of measurements obtained at these time points = baseline) and 30, 60, 90, 120, 180, 240, 360, 480, 720, 960, 1200 and 1440 min post-administration.
