Astemizole: effects of oral administration on haemodynamic and electrocardiographic parameters in the chronically-instrumented conscious primate using telemetry
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: N=4 male conscious telemetered Cynomolgus monkeys, dosed with astemizole at 3, 10 and 30 mg/kg ? successively per os. No PK phase. Haemodynamic parameters (SAP, DAP, MAP, HR). Lead II ECG (RR, PR, QRS, QT, QTcB and QTcF). Body temperature (C?). All parameters were measured 60, 45 and 30 min before administration (mean of measurements obtained at these time points = baseline; T0) and 30 (T30), 60 (T60), 90 (T90), 120 (T120), 180 (T180), 240 (T240), 360 (T360), 480 (T480), 720 (T720), 960 (T960), 1200 (T1200) and 1440 min (T1440) post-administration.
