Expression data from PrimeView human gene expression array

ABSTRACT: Gene expression in A498 cells infected with shCtrl and shMCM8 was detected with a PrimeView human gene expression array. We performed Affymetrix Human Gene Chip Prime View analysis on shCtrl and shMCM8 A498 cells. Of the 2415 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) found in shMCM8 and shCtrl A498 cells, 1263 were up-regulated and 1152 were down-regulated based on the threshold of absolute fold change ≥ 2 and FDR < 0.05

Project description:Gene expression in NCI-H1299 cells infected with shCtrl and shRPL35A was detected with a PrimeView human gene expression array. Gene expression profiling of shCtrl and shRPL35A NCI-H1299 cells was acquired and analyzed. Differentially expressed genes were identified based on fold change of mean of expression (fold change ≥ 1.3) and FDR (< 0.05) from P value calculated based on linear model of empirical Bayesian distribution. Finally, 2055 upregulated genes and 1559 downregulated genes were characterized.

Gene expression profiles of PTPRZ1-knocking-down human glioblastoma stem cells [PrimeView]

Project description:Glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs), are at the apex of its cellular hierarchy and contribute to glioblastoma progression and tumor recurrence. Gene expression profiling is useful in determining the genome-wide gene expression changes based on the experimental purpose. In order to interrogate the downstream targets of PTPRZ1, we applied gene expression profiling approach to screen the altered genes that are responsible for the functional phenotype changes. The results will provide a cue for mechanical analysis with potential translational values. PTPRZ1-knocking down glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs) and control GSCs were used in this study. RNA were isolated using Primescript RT Master Mix (Takara). Profiling was established by applying PrimeView Affymetrix Human Gene Expression Array.
