PSCK9 knockdown in EndoC-bH1 cells at 72 h (DIA secretome experiment)


ABSTRACT: EndoC-bH1 cells were incubated with control siRNA or PCSK9 siRNA for 72 hours. The experiment was powered based PCSK9 knockdown in the pilot experiment [PXDxxx (PE083)]. Sample size: 12x12.

Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) is involved in the degradation of the low-density lipoprotein receptor. PCSK9 also targets proteins involved in lipid metabolism (very low-density lipoprotein receptor), immunity (major histocompatibility complex I), and viral infection (cluster of differentiation 81).
