ABSTRACT: The title compound, [Co(C(17)H(14)OP)(C(17)H(14)P)]PF(6), was obtained unintentionally as the product of an attempted synthesis of [1,1'-bis-(oxodiphenyl-phospho-ranyl)cobaltocenium] hexa-fluorido-phosphate. The O atom of the oxo group is disordered over two positions with site occupancies of 0.65:0.35. The crystal structure contains weak inter-molecular C-H?F hydrogen bonds, connecting the components of the structure into chains parallel to [010].

The PF(6) (-) anion links the cobaltocenium cations via weak C-H?F hydrogen bonds into a chain running along the b axis. Project description:The title bimetallic compound, [PtCl(2){Co(C(17)H(14)P)(2)}]PF(6), was obtained by reaction of 1,1'-bis-(diphenyl-phosphino)cobalto-cenium hexa-fluorido-phosphate with bis-(acetonitrile)di-chloridoplatinum. The Pt(II) ion is four-coordinated in a slightly distorted square-planar environment by two P atoms of the 1,1'-bis-(diphenyl-phosphino)cobaltocenium moiety and two Cl atoms. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked by weak C-H?F and C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds.

Project description:In the cobaltocenium group of the title compound, [AuCo(C(5)H(5))(C(17)H(14)P)Cl]PF(6), the substituted cyclo-penta-dienyl (Cps) and the unsubstituted cyclo-penta-dienyl (Cp) ring planes are almost parallel, making a dihedral angle of 3.1?(3)°. The C atoms in Cp and Cps are in an eclipsed conformation. The Au(I) atom is coordinated by a P atom from the diphenyl-phosphanyl group and a Cl atom in an almost linear arrangement [P-Au-Cl = 178.15-(7)°]. Two hexa-fluorido-phosphate anions are each located on a twofold rotation axis. In the crystal, the complex cations and hexa-fluorido-phosphate anions are linked via inter-molecular C-H?F hydrogen bonds.

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, NH(4) (+)·PF(6) (-)·C(12)H(24)O(6), the cation is situated in the 18-crown-6 ring, forming a supra-molecular rotator-stator-like structure held by N-H?O hydrogen bonds. The six O atoms of the crown ether lie approximately in a plane [mean deviation 0.2129?(3)?Å]; the N atom is displaced by 0.864?(3)Å from the centroid of the 18-crown-6 ring. Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [FeRuCl(C(5)H(5))(C(10)H(14))(C(37)H(31)P(2))]PF(6), contains two independent, geometrically similar Ru(II) complexes of a chiral ferrocenyldiphosphane with piano-stool coordination through the ?(6)-bound p-cymene ligand, two chelating phospho-rus donor atoms, and an exo-oriented chloride ion. The mean bond lengths of the two Ru complexes are Ru-C = 2.276?Å, Ru-P = 2.3816?Å, and Ru-Cl = 2.3924?Å. Both chloride ligands form only intra-molecular C-H?Cl inter-actions. Seven weak inter-molecular C-H?F inter-actions involving mainly arene H atoms consolidate the crystal packing, which reveals an approximate c/2 pseudo-translation relating the two independent Ru complex mol-ecules.

The cyclo-hexyl ring and one of the phenyl rings display 0.630?(7):0.37?(7) and 0.60?(2):0.40?(2) positional disorder, respectively. The dichloro-methane solvent mol-ecule displays 0.526?(4):0.474?(4) positional disorder. C-H?F hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.
