Project description:The title compound, [Fe(C(5)H(5))(C(19)H(16)O(2)P)], obtained serendipitously during recrystallization of 1-hydroxy-benzotriazolyl (S(p))-2-(diphenyl-phosphino)ferrocene-1-carboxyl-ate from meth-anol, crystallizes in the chiral space group P2(1)2(1)2(1). Its crystal structure not only confirms the anti-cipated absolute configuration but also establishes a rather regular geometry for the ferrocene unit, devoid of any significant deformation due to the attached substituents. In the crystal, symmetry-related mol-ecules are linked via weak C-H?O inter-actions.

Project description:In the title compound, C(26)H(25)NP(2), the diphenyl-phosphino groups are staggered relative to the PNP backbone, even though the ethyl substituent coordinated to the N atom is not sterically bulky. The N atom adapts an almost planar geometry with two P atoms and a C atom of the allyl group attached to it in order to accommodate the steric bulk of the phenyl groups and the alkyl group. The distortion of the trigonal-pyramidal geometry of the nitro-gen is further illustrated by the bond angles which range between 114.0?(1) and 123.7?(1)°. There are no classical inter-molecular inter-actions.

Project description:The binuclear title compound, [Au(2)Fe(C(9)H(10)NOS)(2)(C(17)H(14)P)(2)]·CH(2)Cl(2), which has the Fe atom located on a crystallographic centre of inversion, crystallizes as a 1:1 dichloro-methane solvate, which is disordered about a centre of inversion. There is a small deviation from linearity defined by the SP donor set [S1-Au-P1 angle is 175.35?(5) °] which is due to an intra-molecular Au?O contact [3.080?(5)?Å]. The primary inter-molecular contacts between binuclear mol-ecules are of the type C-H??, and are arranged so as to form columns in the a-axis direction in which the disordered solvent mol-ecules reside.

Project description:The title compound, C32H29NP2S2, has two mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit, with an r.m.s. difference of 0.218 Å in their best-fit overlay. Both mol-ecules have a slightly distorted trigonal-planar N atom, bonded to two P(V) atoms and a C atom of the 4-ethyl-phenyl unit. The P-N-P angles of 126.34 (11) and 125.98 (11)° are larger than the four C-N-P bond angles. The two S atoms are trans to one another with respect to the P-N-P angle. The crystal structure features C-H⋯π inter-actions. The methyl group in one of the mol-ecules is disordered over two sets of sites, with occupancies of 0.518 (6) and 0.482 (6).

Project description:In the title compound, [FeRu(C(17)H(14)P)(2)(C(6)H(8)BN(4))H(CO)]·C(3)H(6)O, the Ru(II) ion is coordinated in a distorted octa-hedral environment involving a hydride ligand, a carbonyl ligand and two bidentate ligands. Of the two bidentate ligands, the bulky 1,1'-bis-(diphenyl-phosphino)ferrocene (dppf) ligand chelates with a larger bite angle of 101.90 (2)°, whereas the bite angle of the [H(2)Bpz(2)](-) ligand (pz = pyrazol-yl) is 85.67 (7)°. The latter ligand creates an RuN(4)B six-membered ring with a boat conformation, which puckers towards the site of the small hydride ligand. The hydride ligand is cis with respect to the carbonyl ligand and trans to one of the P atoms of the dppf ligand. In the crystal structure, there are weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds between complex mol-ecules and acetone solvent mol-ecules.

Project description:The title compound, [Fe(C(5)H(5))(C(30)H(32)O(7)P)], which is an inter-mediate in the synthesis of (R(p))-2-(diphenyl-phos-phino)ferrocene-1-carboxylic acid, crystallizes in the common chiral space group P2(1)2(1)2(1). In general, the mol-ecular geometry is very similar to that of the corresponding 2,1'-bis-(diphenyl-phosphino) congener. The ferrocene unit assumes a regular geometry with the proximal bulky substituents efficiently avoiding mutual spatial contacts. In the crystal, the mol-ecules participate in weak intra- and inter-molecular C-H?O inter-actions.

Project description:The dinuclear title compound, [FePtCl(2)(C(17)H(14)P)(C(23)H(23)NO(3)P)]·1.25CH(2)Cl(2), has a slightly distorted cis-PtCl(2)P(2) square-planar geometry around the Pt atom, and the ferrocenylphosphine ligands are staggered at an angle of 29.4 (2)° about Pt. In the crystal structure, the complex forms centrosymmetric dimers via two strong inter-molecular O-H⋯O bonds resulting in R(2) (2)(8) rings. A weak intra-molecular N-H⋯Cl bond leads to an S(8) motif. The solvent is highly disordered and has not been modelled with discrete atoms.
