Catena-Poly[copper(I)-bis(μ-trifluoro-methane-sulfonato-κO:O')-copper(I)-bis(μ-trimethyl trithio-phosphite)-κP:S;κS:P].

ABSTRACT: The title compound, [Cu(2)(CF(3)SO(3))(2)(C(3)H(9)PS(3))(2)](n), crystallizes as infinite chains in which two trimethyl trithio-phosphite ligands and two trifluoro-methane-sulfonate anions bridge the essentially tetra-hedrally coordinated Cu(I) ions in an alternating fashion. The P and one S atom of each trimethyl trithio-phosphite ligand are employed for coordination. The mol-ecular structure exhibits the rare motif of copper(I) bridged by two trifluoro-methane-sulfonate anions generating eight-membered rings.

Project description:The title compound, [Ni(C(7)H(7)OS)(2)(C(3)H(9)P)(2)], was obtained as a product of the reaction of [NiMe(2)(PMe(3))(3)] with two molar equivalents of 4-methoxy-thio-phenol in diethyl ether. The compound is stable in the air for several hours, but rapidly decomposes at room temperature in solution. The Ni atom displays a square-planar coordination with two P-donor atoms lying in trans positions. The benzene rings of the thio-phenolate ligands are almost perpendicular to the square coordination plane, making dihedral angles of 80.43 (4) and 72.60 (4)°.

Project description:The title chain polymer compound, [GaLi(2)Br(C(3)H(9)OSi)(4)(C(4)H(8)O)(2)](n), was obtained in the reaction of GaBr(3) with Me(3)SiOLi in toluene/tetra-hydro-furan. The Ga(III) atom, located on a twofold rotation axis, is coordinated by four trimethyl-silanolate ligands and has a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. The Li(I) atom is four coordinated by one bridging Br atom located on an inversion centre, two trimethyl-silanolate ligands and one tetra-hydro-furane mol-ecule in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. The polymeric chains extend along [001]. The tetra-hydro-furane mol-ecule is disordered over two positions with site-occupancy factors of 0.57 (2) and 0.43 (2).

Project description:In the title compound, [Ag(CF(3)SO(3))(C(8)H(10)N(4)O(2))(2)(H(2)O)], the Ag(I) atom is coordinated by two caffeine N atoms and, at longer distances, two O atoms of a coordinated water mol-ecule and the trifluoro-methane-sulfonate anion, resulting in an AgN(2)O(2) seesaw geometry. The caffeine mol-ecules are roughly coplanar [dihedral angle = 5.81 (5)°]. In the crystal, mol-ecules self-assemble into a linear supra-molecular chain along the c axis via O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds involving the coordinated water moledcule and carbonyl O atoms. The packing is consolidated by weak C-H⋯O inter-actions.

Project description:The title compound, [Ag(NCS)(C(25)H(22)P(2))](n), contains two Ag(+) ions, two thio-cyanate ions and two bis-(diphenyl-phosphino)methane (dppm) ligands in the asymmetric unit. One of the thiocyanate ions bridges the two Ag(+) ions in a μ(2)-mode from its S atom and the two dppm ligands bridge the silver ions in a μ(1),μ(1) mode. The remaining SCN(-) ion bridges the binuclear units via its N and S atoms, generating a one-dimensional polymer propagating in [01]: the resulting AgP(2)SN and AgP(2)S(2) coordination geometries could be described as distorted tetra-hedral.

Project description:The title complex, [Cu(2)I(2)(C(10)H(11)N(3)O(2)S)(2)(C(18)H(15)P)(2)], is a centrosymmetric sulfur-bridged dimer of Cu(I) with PPh(3) and iodine. The Cu(I) atom shows a distorted tetra-hedral geometry, with bite angles ranging from 98.61 (2) to 120.16 (3)°. The intra-molecular Cu⋯Cu distance is 2.8228 (12) Å. The thio-semicarbazone ligand is coordinated only through the S atom. In the crystal, the complex mol-ecules are linked via inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, resulting in a hydrogen-bonded chain along the b axis.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Ag(2)(C(2)ClF(2)O(2))(2)(C(25)H(22)P(2))(2)], consists of two half-mol-ecules, each Ag(I) ion lying on a center of symmetry. In each complete mol-ecule, two bis-(diphenyl-phosphino)methane ligands bridge two Ag(I) ions, which are further coordinated by one chloro-difluoro-acetate ligand, giving T-shaped geometries and short intra-molecular Ag⋯Ag distances of 3.1078 (6) and 2.9950 (6) Å. Project description:In the mononuclear title complex, [CuCl(CH5N3S)(C18H15P)2]·0.48H2O, the Cu(I) ion is in a slightly distorted tetra-hedral coordination geometry formed by two P atoms from two tri-phenyl-phosphane ligands, one S atom from a thio-semicarbazide ligand and one chloride anion. An intra-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bond [graph-set motif S(5)] stabilizes the thio-semicarbazide ligand in its anti conformation, and an intra-molecular N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bond between the hydrazine N-H group and the chloride anion influences the arrangement and orientation of the ligands around the metal center. A weak intra-molecular C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bond is also present. In the crystal, complex mol-ecules are connected through N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds originating from the amide -NH2 group, and through O-H⋯S and O-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds involving the solvent water mol-ecule. Both the direct N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds as well as the bridging hydrogen bonds mediated by the water mol-ecule connect the complex mol-ecules into zigzag chains that propagate along [010]. The solvent water mol-ecule is partially occupied, with a refined occupancy of 0.479 (7).
