Project description:The title compound, (C(2)H(8)N)(C(5)H(12)NO)[ZnCl(4)], was synthesized by hydro-thermal reaction of ZnCl(2) with 4-methyl-morpholine in a dimethyl-formamide solution. The asymmetric unit is composed of half a [ZnCl(4)](2-) anion, half a 4-methyl-morpholin-4-ium cation and half a dimethyl-ammonium cation, all located on mirror planes parallel to ac. All the amine H atoms are involved in inter-molecular N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds, building up an infinite chain parallel to the c axis.

Project description:The title compound, (C(4)H(10)NO)(2)[CoCl(4)], is an ionic compound consisting of two protonated tetra-hydro-1,4-oxazine (morpholine) cations and a [CoCl(4)](2-) dianion. The Co(II) ion is in a tetra-hedral coordination geometry. The cations exhibit chair-shaped conformations. A three-dimensional supra-molecular architecture is formed through N-H?Cl and C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds between the dianions and the cations.

Project description:The crystal of the title compound, (C(22)H(22)N(2))[ZnCl(4)], consists of 2,2'-(butane-1,4-di-yl)diisoquinolinium organic cations and [ZnCl(4)](2-) complex anions. The cation is located across a twofold axis and the Zn(II) atom of the anion is located on the other twofold axis. The centroid-centroid distance between parallel pyridine rings of neighboring mol-ecules is 3.699 (3) Å, but the face-to-face separation of 3.601 (3) Å suggests there is no significant π-π stacking in the crystal structure.

Project description:In the title compound, (C(4)H(12)N(2))[ZnCl(4)], the Zn atom adopts a slightly distorted tetra-hedral geometry. In the crystal, the dication and dianion inter-act by way of N-H⋯Cl and N-H⋯(Cl,Cl) hydrogen bonds to result in a layered network propagating in (010). The hydrogen-bonding network is unbalanced, with three Cl atoms accepting two hydrogen bonds each and one Cl atom not accepting any hydrogen bonds: the latter shows the shortest Zn-Cl bond length. The crystal studied was found to be an inversion twin.

Project description:The title compound, (C(5)H(12)NO)(2)[ZnBr(4)], was synthesized by hydro-thermal reaction of ZnBr(2) with 4-methyl-morpholine in a HBr/distilled water solution. Each of the two independent cations exhibits a chair conformation; the anion deviates slightly from an tetrahedral configuration. The Zn-Br distances in the anion are in the range of 2.3996?(9)-2.4247?(9)?Å. All of the amine H atoms are involved in bifurcated inter-molecular N-H?Br hydrogen bonds, building up a trimer.
