ABSTRACT: The structure of the title compound, [AgI(C(18)H(27)P)(2)]·C(5)H(5)N, shows a trigonal-planar coordinated Ag(I) atom within a distorted IAgP(2) donor set. The pyridine solvent mol-ecule is only associated with the complex via very weak inter-molecular C-H?N inter-actions.

Project description:The title compound, [Ag(2)I(2)(C(5)H(5)N)(2)(C(18)H(27)P)(2)], contains centrosymmetric dinuclear species in which each Ag atom is surrounded by a phosphine ligand, a weakly coordinating pyridine ligand and two iodide anions in a distorted tetra-hedral coordination. The two iodide anions bridge the Ag atoms, which are separated by a distance of 3.1008?(6)?Å. The Ag-P distance is 2.4436?(8)?Å, Ag-N is 2.386?(3)Å and the Ag-I distances are 2.8186?(4) and 2.9449?(5)?Å.

Project description:The title compound, [Ag(C(18)H(27)P)(2)]NO(3), is a mononuclear salt species in which the Ag atom is coordinated by two phosphine ligands, forming a cation, with the nitrate as the counter-anion, weakly inter-acting with the Ag atom, resulting in Ag?O distances of 2.602?(6) and 2.679?(6)?Å. The cationic silver-phosphine complex has a non-linear geometry in which the P-Ag-P angle is 154.662?(19)°. The Ag-P bond lengths are 2.4303?(6) and 2.4046?(5)?Å.

Project description:In the title compound, [Ag{P(C(6)H(11))(2)(C(6)H(5))}(2)]ClO(4)·CH(2)Cl(2), the Ag(I) atom in the mononuclear complex cation is coordinated by two P atoms of the phosphane ligands [Ag-P = 2.3993 (4) and 2.4011 (4) Å; P-Ag-P = 177.473 (18)°] and the perchlorate anion acts as the counter-anion. There is an Ag⋯O(perchlorate) inter-action of 2.873 (2) Å, which contributes to the slightly non-linear bond angle about the Ag(I) atom. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions involving phenyl, cyclo-hexyl and dichloro-methane H-atom donors and perchlorate O-atom acceptors contribute to the stabilization of the crystal structure.

Project description:In the title compound, (C(12)H(24)N)[Sn(CH(3))(3)(C(6)H(6)O(3)P)(2)], the SnMe(3) residues are axially coordinated by two monodentate [PhPO(3)H](-) anions, leading to a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry for the Sn(IV) atom. The two [SnMe(3)(PhPO(3)H)(2)](-) anions in the unit cell are associated into infinite chains along the a axis by O-H?O hydrogen bonds involving the hy-droxy group of the hydrogen phenyl-phospho-nate ion. The chains inter-act with one another via O-H?O hydrogen bonds along the c axis. These networks of anions assemble with the dicyclo-hexyl-ammonium ion through N-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.

Each five-coordinate Sn atom shows trans-C(3)SnO(2) trigonal bipyramidal coordination. The four Sn-O distances are approximately equal in the two independent anions. Each ammonium cation serves as a hydrogen-bond donor to two stannates, the hydrogen-bonding inter-actions giving rise to linear hydrogen-bonded chains.

Project description:The title compound, [RuCl2(?(6)-C6H6)(C12H22ClP)]·CHCl3, was prepared by reaction of [RuCl2(?(6)-C6H6)]2 with chloro-dicyclo-hexyl-phosphane in CHCl3 at 323?K under argon. The Ru(II) atom is surrounded by one arene ligand, two Cl atoms and a phosphane ligand in a piano-stool geometry. The phosphane ligand is linked by the P atom, with an Ru-P bond length of 2.3247?(4)?Å. Both cyclo-hexyl rings at the P atom adopt a chair conformation. In the crystal, the Ru(II) complex mol-ecule and the chloro-form solvent mol-ecule are linked by a bifurcated C-H?(Cl,Cl) hydrogen bond. Intra-molecular C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds are also observed.
