ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [Re(C(3)H(7)O)I(2)O(C(8)H(6)N(4))], the Re(V) atom adopts a distorted octa-hedral ReI(2)O(2)N(2) geometry, with the O atoms in a trans conformation and the I atoms in a cis conformation. Two intra-molecular C-H?I contacts occur. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular C-H?O, C-H?N and C-H?I hydrogen bonds.
