In the centrosymmetric title compound, [OsCl(2)(C(18)H(40)O(4)P(2))(2)], the Os(II) atom adopts a trans-OsCl(2)P(4) geometry, arising from its coordination by two chelating diphosphane ligands and two chloride ions.
