ABSTRACT: The title mol-ecule, C(26)H(35)NO(2), contains two cyclo-butane rings that adopt butterfly conformations and are linked by a -CH(OH)CH(2)NHCH(2)CH(OH)- bridge. In the crystal, N-H?O, O-H?N and O-H?O hydrogen bonds together with C-H?? inter-actions link the molecules.

Project description:In the title compound, C(23)H(46)N(6)O(2), the two hy-droxy groups are located on opposite sides of the triazine ring. One of the hy-droxy groups links with the triazine N atom via an intra-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bond. Inter-molecular O-H?N and N-H?O hydrogen bonding is observed in the crystal structure. ?-? stacking is also observed between parallel triazine rings of adjacent mol-ecules, the centroid-centroid distance being 3.5944?(14)?Å.

Further weak intra-molecular N-H?N hydrogen bonding is responsible for the elongation of one of the Caromatic-N bonds.

Project description:The whole mol-ecule of the title compound, C22H19NO2, is generated by twofold rotational symmetry. The N atom exhibits a trigonal-planar geometry and is located on the twofold rotation axis. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O contacts with R 2 2(12) ring motifs, and C-H⋯π inter-actions, resulting in ribbons along the c-axis direction. van der Waals inter-actions between these ribbons consolidate the mol-ecular packing. Hirshfeld surface analysis indicates that the greatest contributions to the crystal packing are from H⋯H (45.5%), C⋯H/H⋯C (38.2%) and O⋯H/H⋯O (16.0%) inter-actions.

Project description:In the title compound, C(29)H(25)NS(2), both the Cl atoms of the aza-diene precursor 4,4-dichloro-1,1-diphenyl-2-aza-buta-1,3-diene are replaced by two vicinal S-p-tolyl substituents attached to the terminal C atom of a π-conjugated 2-aza-butadiene array. The aza-diene chain is planar to within 0.01 Å. One of the phenyl rings seems to be slightly π-conjugated with the aza-diene core [dihedral angle 5.1 (2)°].

In the crystal, the cation, anion and water mol-ecule inter-act by O-H?O and N-H?O hydrogen bonds, generating a three-dimensional network.
