ABSTRACT: In the title 1:1 cocrystal, C(10)H(7)NO(4)·C(14)H(13)N(3)O(2), mol-ecules are linked by inter-molecular C-H?O, N-H?O and O-H?N hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network. In addition, ?-? stacking inter-actions [with centroid-centroid distances of 3.5723?(19) and 3.6158?(18)?Å] are observed.

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, 2C(10)H(7)NO(4)·C(14)H(13)N(3)O(2), the two independent acid mol-ecules are connected through strong O-H?N and O-H?O hydrogen bonds to the central mol-ecule of the anti-tubercular drug N'-[(E)-4-meth-oxy-benzyl-idene]pyridine-4-carbohydrazide. Two such trimolecular units related by an inversion centre inter-act through a pair of N-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming a 3 + 3 mol-ecular aggregate. The dihedral angle between the aromatic rings of the hydrazone mol-ecule is 1.99?(12)°. The crystal packing features weak C-H?O and ?-? stacking inter-actions, with centroid-centroid distances of 3.8460?(19) and 3.8703?(13)?Å.

Project description:In the title compound, C14H13N3O2·2H2O, the hydrazone mol-ecule adopts an E conformation with respect to the C=N bond. The dihedral angle between the benzene and pyridine rings is 8.55 (10)°. The methyl-idene-hydrazide [-C(=O)-N-N=C-] fragment is essentially planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.0375 (13) Å. The mean planes of the benzene and pyridine rings make dihedral angles of 2.71 (14) and 11.25 (13)°, respectively, with mean plane of the methyl-idene-hydrazide fragment. In the crystal, the benzohydrazide and water mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O, O-H⋯O and O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network.

Project description:The title compound, C(16)H(16)N(2)O(4), was obtained from the reaction of hydrazine hydrate and o-vanilin in absolute ethanol. Project description:In the title compound, C(21)H(19)NO(6), the isoindole ring system is essentially planar [maximum deviation = 0.019?(2)?Å for the N atom] and is oriented at a dihedral angle of 51.3?(1)° with respect to the benzene ring. The two meth-oxy groups are almost coplanar with the attached benzene ring [C-O-C-C = 3.7?(4) and 4.3?(4)°]. The mol-ecular conformation is stabilized by an intra-molecular C-H?O hydrogen bond, which generates an S(9) ring motif. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked through bifurcated C-H?(O,O) hydrogen bonds having R(1) (2)(5) ring motifs, forming chains along the b-axis direction. The crystal packing is further stabilzed by ?-? inter-actions [centriod-centroid distance = 3.463?(1)?Å].
