Bis(4-methyl-piperidinium) hexa-chlorido-stannate(IV).

ABSTRACT: The crystal structure of the title compound, (C(6)H(14)N)(2)[SnCl(6)], is built of 4-methyl-piperidinium cations, occupying special positions on the mirror plane, and hexa-chloridostannate(IV) anions on a special position of 2/m symmetry. The ions are linked via N-H?Cl hydrogen bonds into chains running along the b axis.
