Project description:The title compound, [RuCl(2)(C(2)H(3)N)(2)(C(18)H(15)P)(2)]·2C(2)H(3)N, was obtained upon stirring an acetonitrile/ethanol solution of [RuCl(2)(PPh(3))(3)]. In the crystal structure, each Ru(II) ion is coordinated by two Cl [Ru-Cl = 2.4308 (7) and 2.4139 (7) Å], two N [Ru-N = 2.016 (2) and 2.003 (2) Å], and two P [Ru-P = 2.3688 (7) and 2.3887 (7) Å] atoms in a distorted octa-hedral geometry. Packing inter-actions include typical C-H⋯π contacts involving phenyl groups as well as weak hydrogen bonds between CH(3)CN methyl H atoms and Cl or solvent CH(3)CN N atoms.

Project description:In the title compound, [PtCl(2)(C(18)H(15)P)(2)]·CHCl(3), each Pt(II) centre adopts a nearly square-planar coordination geometry formed by two P atoms [Pt-P = 2.2481?(17) and 2.2658?(19)?Å] and two Cl anions [Pt-Cl = 2.3244?(19) and 2.3548?(17)?Å]. The Cl atoms of the chloro-form solvent mol-ecule are disordered over two orientations in a 0.778?(11):0.222?(11) ratio. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds, exhib-iting voids with a volume of 215?Å(3).

The Pd(II) atom displays a slightly distorted square-planar PdP(2)S(2) geometry with a bidentately coordinated pyridin-2-ylcarbonimidodithio-ate ligand and two triphenyl-phosphine mol-ecules, coordinated in cis positions. Project description:In the title diaqua-cobalt complex, [Co(C(8)H(11)NO(5)PS)(2)(H(2)O)(2)], the Co(II) atom is surrounded by six O atoms belonging to the phosphoryl and sulfonyl groups of two deprotonated chelate ligands and two additional O atoms from water mol-ecules which are in cis positions with respect to one another. The coordination environment of cobalt can be described as a distorted octa-hedron. Project description:In the title compound, trans-[PtCl(2)(C(7)H(9)N)(2)], the Pt(II) atom is located on an inversion center and is coordinated by two 3,4-dimethyl-pyridine ligands and two chloride ligands, resulting in a typical slightly distorted square-planar geometry. The crystallographic inversion centre forces the value of the C-N-N-C torsion angle to be linear and the 3,4-dimethyl-pyridine ligands to be coplanar.

Project description:The title compound, [CoH(C(18)H(15)P)(2)(C(2)H(6)OS)(2)], was synthesized by the reaction of chloridotris(triphenyl-phosphane)cobalt(I), [ClCo(PPh(3))(3)], in the presence of one equivalent potassium hydridotris(pyrazol-yl)borate in dimethyl sulfoxide. The structure displays a distorted trigonal-pyramidally coordinated cobalt(I) atom, with two phosphane ligands and one DMSO ligand in the equatorial plane. The coordination is completed by one further DMSO ligand and the anionic hydride in the axial positions.

Project description:The title dinuclear platinum compound, [Pt(2)Cl(4)(C(22)H(16)N(4))(C(2)H(6)S)(2)], with a long bridging bipyridyl-type ligand, is centrosymmetric and the Pt(II) cation shows a slightly distorted square-planar coordination geometry. The Cl ligands are trans to each other, with a Cl-Pt-Cl angle of 178.83 (8)°. The pyridine ring forms a dihedral angle of 48.8 (2)° with the planar PtCl(2)SN unit. Within the mol-ecule, the distance between Pt atoms is 20.262 (5) Å and the N⋯N separation between the terminal pyridyl rings is 16.23 (1)Å.
