Risperidone: evaluation of effects on blood pressure, heart rate and electrocardiogram after single oral administration to conscious dogs

ABSTRACT: n=4 chronically-instrumented conscious male Beagle dogs, dosed with risperidone at 0.04, 0.2, 1 mg/kg, p.o., successively (wash-out 48h). No PK phase. Parameters: haemodynamic parameters (SAP, DAP, MAP, HR) and ECG intervals (RR, PR, QRS, QT, QTcB, QTcF and QTcH intervals). All parameters will be analysed before administration, then 30, 45 minutes, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 hours after dosing.
