Sotalol: effects on arterial blood pressure, heart rate and electrocardiogram, following oral administration in the conscious male beagle dog monitored by telemetry.

ABSTRACT: n=5 chronically-instrumented conscious male Beagle dogs, dosed with Sotalol at 20 mg/kg. No PK phase. Parameters: haemodynamic parameters (SAP, DAP, MAP, HR) and ECG intervals (PR, RR, QRS, QT, QTcf and QTcv intervals), body temperature. Parameters were quantified before (pre-dose: mean of measurements obtained at -45, -30 and-15 minutes) and 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 240, 300, 360 and 480 minutes after dosing.
