Dofetilide: effects of oral administration on blood pressure, heart rate, ECG and body temperature in the chronically instrumented conscious rat using telemetry.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Chronically-instrumented conscious Wistar rats: 6 female Wistar rats. Dofetilide per os (3 and 5 mg/kg). No PK performed. Haemodynamic parameters (SAP, DAP, MAP, HR), lead II ECG (RR, PR, QRS, QT, QTcB and QTcF intervals) and body temperature + arrhythmias. Arterial blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature and ECG parameters were measured 45, 30 and 15 min before administration (mean of the measurements obtained at these time points = baseline; T0) and 30 (T30), 60 (T60), 120 (T120), 180 (T180), 240 (T240), 360 (T360), 600 (T600) and 1440 min (T1440) post-administration.
