ABSTRACT: In the title complex, [Ni(CH(3)CN)(2)(C(3)H(4)N(2))(4)](NO(3))(2), the cation lies on an inversion center and adopts an octa-hedral coordination geometry about the Ni atom. The two acetonitrile ligands are in a trans conformation. N-H?O hydrogen bonds between cations and anions link the complex mol-ecules into one-dimensional chains running parallel to [100].

Project description:The title compound, [Cu(ClO(4))(2)(C(3)H(4)N(2))(4)], was obtained unexpectedly by the reaction of copper(II) perchlorate hexa-hydrate with equimolar amounts of 1-chloro-1-nitro-2,2,2-tripyrazolylethane in methanol solution. The crystal structure comprises octa-hedrally coordinated Cu(2+) ions, located on an inversion centre, with four pyrazole ligands in the equatorial plane. The average Cu-N distance is 2.000?(1)?Å. Project description:In the title compound, [Ni(NCS)(2)(C(6)H(10)N(2))(4)]·C(6)H(10)N(2), the asymmetric unit comprises a Ni(II) complex and a co-crystallised mol-ecule of 3,4,5-trimethyl-1H-pyrazole (PzMe(3)). The Ni(II) atom is coordinated by four PzMe(3) mol-ecules and two thio-cyanate anions to define a trans N(4)S(2) distorted octa-hedral geometry. A number of intra-molecular N-H?N, N-H?S and C-H?N inter-actions contribute to the stability of the complex. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular N-H?S inter-actions, which link neighbouring mol-ecules into chains along the a axis.

Project description:The structure of the title compound, [Ni(NCS)(2)(C(6)H(8)N(2))(4)], consists of isolated mol-ecules of [Ni(NCS)(2)(Aim)(4)] (Aim = 1-allyl-imidazole), which contain a distorted octa-hedral NiN(6) chromophore. The NCS(-) anions are trans and four N atoms from the 1-allyl-imidazole ligands define the equatorial plane. The mean Mn-N(Aim) and Mn-N(NCS) distances are 2.105 (2) and 2.098 (2) Å, respectively. Weak C-H⋯N inter-actions contribute to the crystal packing stability.

Project description:The title salt, [Pd(C3H4N2)4]Cl2, was obtained unexpectedly by the reaction of palladium(II) dichloride with equimolar amounts of 1-chloro-1-nitro-2,2,2-tris-(pyrazol-yl)ethane in methanol solution. The Pd(2+) cation is located on an inversion centre and has a square-planar coordination sphere defined by four N atoms of four neutral pyrazole ligands. The average Pd-N distance is 2.000?(2)?Å. The two chloride anions are not coordinating to Pd(2+). They are connected to the complex cations through N-H?Cl hydrogen bonds. In addition, C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds are observed, leading to a three-dimensional linkage of cations and anions.

Each Cu(II) atom is coordinated by two O atoms of the carboxyl-ate and acetyl groups, two pyrazole N atoms of doubly deprotonated 3-acetyl-4-methyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carb-oxy-lic acid and one O atom of a water mol-ecule. The geometry at each Cu(II) atom is distorted square-pyramidal, with the two N and two O atoms in the equatorial plane and O atoms in the axial positions. O-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interactions additionally stabilize the structure. One of the uncoordinated water molecules shows half-occupancy.
