Bis(carbonyl-?C)(N,N-dimethyl-thio-carbamoyl-?C,S)(pyridine-2-thiol-ato-?N,S)(triphenyl-phosphine-?P)molybdenum(II).

ABSTRACT: There are two independent mol-ecules with similar configurations in the title complex, [Mo(C(3)H(6)NS)(C(5)H(4)NS)(C(18)H(15)P)(CO)(2)]. The geometry around the metal atom is that of a capped octa-hedron. The thio-cabamoyl and pyridine-2-thiol-ate ligands coordinate to the molybdenum metal center through the C and S atoms, and N and S atoms, respectively. NMR, IR and MS analyses are in agreement with the structure of the title compound.

Project description:In the title compound, [Pd(C(5)H(4)NS)(C(18)H(14)PS)(C(18)H(15)P)], the Pd(II) atom has a slightly distorted square-planar environment. Two coordination sites are occupied by a P,S-chelating 2-(diphenyl-phosphan-yl)benzene-thiol-ate ligand and the other two by a P atom from a triphenyl-phosphine ligand and an S atom from a pyridine-2-thiol-ate ligand, exhibiting a trans arrangement of the two P-donor atoms. In the crystal structure, weak intra- and inter-molecular C-H⋯π and π-π inter-actions are observed. The pyridyl ring is equally disordered over two positions.

Project description:In the title 1:1 silver(I) 4-carb-oxy-pyridine-3-carboxyl-ate adduct with triphenyl-phosphine, [Ag(C(7)H(4)NO(4))(C(18)H(15)P)](n), the carboxyl-ate anion bridges the phosphine-coordinated Ag atoms through its N and O atoms, generating a coordination polymer forming layers in the bc plane. The Ag atom exists in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. The H atom of the carboxyl-ate is midway between two O atoms of the two carboxyl groups, thus forming a strong intra-molecular hydrogen bond.

Project description:The title compound, [Cu(C(5)H(5)N)(2)(C(18)H(15)P)(2)]BF(4), crystallizes as discrete [(PPh(3))(2)(py)(2)Cu](+) cations and [BF(4)](-) anions and is isostructural with the analogous perchlorate salt. The anion is located in close proximity to the pyridine ligands with weak C-H⋯F inter-actions apparent. The P(2)CuN(2) coordination geometry is pseudo-tetra-hedral, with P-Cu-P and N-Cu-N angles of 116.02 (6) and 101.5 (2)°, respectively.

Project description:The structure of the title complex, [Ag(C(12)H(8)N(2))(C(18)H(15)P)]CF(3)SO(3), is based on a distorted trigonal-planar N(2)P coordination of the Ag(I) ion, provided by two N atoms of the bidentate phenanthroline ligand and one P atom of the triphenyl-phosphine ligand. The phenanthroline ligand and one phenyl ring of the triphenyl-phosphine ligand almost lie in one plane (maximum deviation = 0.014 Å from the best planes). The crystal structure may be stabilized by an inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bond between the phenanthroline ligand and the O atom of the trifluoro-methane-sulfonate anion.

Project description:The reaction of [RuCl(C(9)H(10)BN(6))(C(18)H(15)P)(2)] with benzo-phenone imine in methanol, in the presence of sodium azide, leads to the formation of the title compound, [Ru(C(9)H(10)BN(6))(N(3))(HN=CPh(2))(C(18)H(15)P)]·C(4)H(10)O, which crystallizes as the diethyl ether solvate. In the crystal structure, the Ru atom is coordinated by three N atoms of one hydridotris(pyrazoly)borate anion, one P atom of one triphenyl-phosphine ligand, one N atom of the azide anion and one N atom of the benzophenone-imine ligand in a slightly distorted octa-hedral geometry. The azide anion is almost linear [177.0 (5)°], with an Ru-N-N angle of 125.9 (3)°. There is a small difference between the N-N distances [1.200 (5) and 1.164 (5) Å], the longer bond being adjacent to the Ru atom.

Project description:The title compound, [RuCl(2)(C(2)H(3)N)(2)(C(18)H(15)P)(2)]·2C(2)H(3)N, was obtained upon stirring an acetonitrile/ethanol solution of [RuCl(2)(PPh(3))(3)]. In the crystal structure, each Ru(II) ion is coordinated by two Cl [Ru-Cl = 2.4308 (7) and 2.4139 (7) Å], two N [Ru-N = 2.016 (2) and 2.003 (2) Å], and two P [Ru-P = 2.3688 (7) and 2.3887 (7) Å] atoms in a distorted octa-hedral geometry. Packing inter-actions include typical C-H⋯π contacts involving phenyl groups as well as weak hydrogen bonds between CH(3)CN methyl H atoms and Cl or solvent CH(3)CN N atoms.

Project description:Reaction of [Ru(Tp)Cl(PPh(3))(2)] (Tp = hydridotrispyrazolyl-borate) with ammonium dithio-benzoate in methanol leads to the formation of the title compound, [Ru(C(9)H(10)BN(6))(C(7)H(5)S(2))(C(18)H(15)P)]. In the crystal structure, the Ru atom is coordinated by three N atoms of the Tp ligand, one P atom of the triphenyl-phosphine ligand and the two S atoms of the dithio-benzoate ligand within a slightly distorted octa-hedron. The Ru-S bonds are slightly different [2.321 (1) and 2.396 (1) Å] and the average N-Ru-N angle is 86.31°.

Project description:Reaction of [Ru(Tp)Cl(PPh(3))(2)] {where Tp is hydridotri-pyrazol-yl-borate, BH[C(3)H(3)N(2))(3))]} with NH(4)[S(2)P(OEt)(2)] in methanol afforded the title compound, [Ru(C(9)H(10)BN(6))(C(4)H(10)O(2)PS(2))(C(18)H(15)P)], in which the Ru(II) ion is in a slightly disorted octa-hedral coordination environment. The [S(2)P(OEt)(2)](-) ligand coordinates in a chelating mode with two similar Ru-S bond lengths and a slightly acute S-Ru-S angle. The atoms of both -OCH(2)CH(3) groups of the diethyl dithio-phosphate ligand are disordered over two sites with approximate occupancies of 0.76 and 0.24.

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Ru(C(4)H(6)BN(6))H(C(18)H(15)P)(2)(CO)]·C(2)H(3)N, discrete mononuclear complexes are found in which the Ru atom is coordinated by two triphenyl-phosphine (PPh(3)) ligands, one dihydro-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)borate ligand, one carbonyl ligand and one hydride atom within slightly distorted octa-hedra. The two P atoms of the PPh(3) ligands are trans positioned and the two N atoms of the chelating dihydro-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)borate ligand occupy cis positions.
