Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C(8)H(20)N)[Tc(C(10)H(6)NO(2))Cl(CO)(3)], consists of two crystallographically independent technetium complexes related via a pseudo-inversion centre and two tetra-ethyl-ammonium cations. The Tc atoms have slightly distorted octa-hedral coordination geometries, and they are linked with the cations by inter-molecular C-H?O and C-H?Cl hydrogen-bonding contacts, forming two-dimensional columns, which lie approximately parallel to (001) in the crystal structure. The isochinolate (isoquinoline-1-carboxyl-ate) ligands link the columns by partial ?-? stacking [centroid-centroid distance 4.3733?(11)?Å], forming a three-dimensional network structure.

The binuclear anion exhibits a pseudo-threefold symmetry and contains two six-coordinate Mn atoms. Each metal atom is coordinated by three facially oriented CO ligands and three doubly-bridging phenolate ligands. The average O-Mn-O bond angle is 74.9?(7)° in the Mn(2)O(3) metal-phenolate dimeric core, yielding a distorted octa-hedron for each metal.

The first is N,O-chelated by three 3-amino-pyrazine-2-carboxyl-ate ions, whereas the second is chelated by two carboxyl-ate ions; both exist in a monocapped square-anti-prismatic geometry. The polymeric chains that run along the a axis inter-act with the lattice water mol-ecules, generating a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonded network. The formate ion is disordered over two positions with respect to the non-coordinated atoms in a 1:1 ratio.

In the crystal, the Ag(I) and Ni(II) ions lie on a mirror plane and an inversion centre, respectively. The complex chains, the nitrate ions and the uncoordinated water mol-ecules are linked together through O-H?O hydrogen bonds and weak Ag?O inter-actions [2.619?(17)-2.749?(17)?Å] into a three-dimensional network.
