ABSTRACT: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [PtCl(2)(C(19)H(17)P)(2)](2)·3CH(2)Cl(2), contains two complex mol-ecules and three dichloro-methane solvent mol-ecules, two of which are disordered over various positions. The Pt(II) complexes reveal a slightly distorted square-planar geometry with average Pt-P and Pt-Cl bond lengthss of 2.252?(8) and 2.363?(8)?Å, respectively, and average P-Pt-P and Cl-Pt-Cl angles of 99.17?(8) and 87.1?(7)°, respectively.

Project description:In the mononuclear title compound, trans-[PtCl2(C19H17P)2], the slightly distorted square-planar coordination sphere of the Pt(II) atom is occupied by two benzyl-diphenyl-phosphane ligands and two chloride atoms in a mutually trans geometry. The effective cone angles for the two phosphane ligands are 160 and 169°. C-H?Cl inter-actions generate infinite long chains along [01-1]. Additional C-H?? and ?-? stacking interactions [centroid-centroid distance = 4.2499?(15)?Å and ring slippage = 2.386?Å] are observed.

Project description:The dinuclear title compound, [FePtCl(2)(C(17)H(14)P)(C(23)H(23)NO(3)P)]·1.25CH(2)Cl(2), has a slightly distorted cis-PtCl(2)P(2) square-planar geometry around the Pt atom, and the ferrocenylphosphine ligands are staggered at an angle of 29.4 (2)° about Pt. In the crystal structure, the complex forms centrosymmetric dimers via two strong inter-molecular O-H⋯O bonds resulting in R(2) (2)(8) rings. A weak intra-molecular N-H⋯Cl bond leads to an S(8) motif. The solvent is highly disordered and has not been modelled with discrete atoms.

Project description:In the title compound, [CoRu(C(17)H(14)P)(2)ClH(C(18)H(15)P)(CO)]PF(6)·2CH(2)Cl(2), the Ru(II) atom is coordinated by three P atoms from a chelating 1,1'-bis-(diphenyl-phosphan-yl)cobaltocenium ligand and a triphenyl-phosphine ligand, one CO ligand, one Cl atom and one H atom in a distorted octa-hedral geometry. In the cobaltocenium unit, the two cyclo-penta-dienyl rings are almost parallel, making a dihedral angle of 1.2?(3)°. The F atoms of the hexa-fluoridophosphate anion are disordered over two sets of sites, with an occupancy ratio of 0.849?(11):0.151?(11). Intra-molecular C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds occur in the complex cation. The complex cations, hexa-fluoridophosphate anions and dichloro-methane solvent mol-ecules are linked by inter-molecular C-H?F hydrogen bonds.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title triangulo-triruthenium compound, 2[Ru(3)(C(25)H(22)P(2))(C(19)H(17)PS)(CO)(9)]·CH(2)Cl(2), contains one triangulo-triruthenium complex mol-ecule and one half-mol-ecule of the dichloro-methane solvent. The dichloro-methane solvent mol-ecule lies across a crystallographic inversion center leading to the mol-ecule being disordered over two positions of equal occupancy. The bis-(diphenyl-phosphan-yl)methane ligand bridges an Ru-Ru bond and the monodentate phosphane ligand bonds to the third Ru atom. All phosphane ligands are equatorial with respect to the Ru(3) triangle. In addition, each Ru atom carries one equatorial and two axial terminal carbonyl ligands. The three phosphane-substituted benzene rings make dihedral angles of 87.18 (11), 59.59 (10) and 89.28 (11)° with each other. The dihedral angles between the two benzene rings are 78.48 (11) and 87.58 (11)° for the two diphenyl-phosphanyl groups. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are stacked along the a axis. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯π inter-actions stabilize the crystal structure.

Project description:The Pt(II) atom in the title compound, [PtCl(2)(C(27)H(27)NP(2))], has a highly distorted square-planar geometry, as evidenced by the P-Pt-P bite angle [72.4?(1)°]. The strain in the complex is further illustrated by the distorted tetra-hedral angles of the P atoms, which range between 93.5?(1) and 122.2?(1)°. It is of inter-est to note that the N atom has to adopt an almost planar geometry with the two P atoms and the C atom attached to it [it is displaced by 0.093?(2)?Å from the CP(2) plane] in order to accommodate the steric bulk of the phenyl groups and the alkyl group of the ligand coordinated to the Pt(II) centre. The mol-ecules pack in horizontal rows across the bc plane. C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Project description:In the title compound, [RuCl(2)(C(6)H(14)N(2))(C(28)H(28)P(2))]·CH(2)Cl(2), the Ru(II) ion is coordinated in a slightly distorted octa-hedral environment, formed by two cis-oriented chloride ligands, two cis P atoms of a 1,4-bis-(diphenyl-phosphan-yl)butane ligand and two cis-chelating N atoms of a bidentate cyclo-hexane-1,2-diamine ligand. In the crystal, pairs of mol-ecules form inversion dimers via N-H?Cl hydrogen bonds. In addition, intra-molecular N-H?Cl and weak C-H?Cl, C-H?N, N-H?? and C-H?? hydrogen bonds are observed. One of the Cl atoms of the solvent mol-ecule is disordered over two sites with refined occupancies of 0.62?(1) and 0.38?(1).
